Five Random Thoughts on a Friday

1. I’ve revised all of my WiP except for the beginning and the end. Which, you know, might be important. But the end of the first round of revisions is so close!

2. I’m officially obsessed with Darren Criss, who plays Blaine on Glee. I fall in love with every song he covers, and he’s just adorable!

3. Sometimes I wish I could do visual art. Like drawing—drawing would be fun. But even my stick figures come out funny looking.

4. I went to a swanky cocktail party and talk about fairy tales last night in a mansion. Seriously. It was put on by the Museum of Fine Arts here. I’m loving Houston.

5. I’m finally reading Across the Universe by Beth Revis, and oh my goodness, am I loving it! So much suspense!

Have a great weekend, everyone! Any fun weekend plans?

  11. Number 3 is the same way I am. I really wish I could draw, but my attempts always fail hard. I just write out what I want drawn and show it to my artist friend. Turns out real close to it.

  14. I'm spending the weekend on the couch, folded into a bed, being waited on by The Hubster and watching my favorite TV shows and movies! Not a bad way to spend it. But I'd rather be hiking and cleaning. Next week! :-) Have a great weekend! And congrats on being so close to the end of your first round of edits!!

  15. Congrats on being close to done with your first round of revision! I just saw an episode of How I Met Your Mother with a cocktail party at the National History Museum and went a little googly-eyed, but your thing sounds even better! Whose life do I have to steal to get me some of that?
Now that Friday's gone, the rest of my weekend plans are just to catch up on blogs and check out the entries for the Oasis for YA's That's YAmore blogfest. Should be swoontastic, I can't wait.

  17. As a child, I wanted to be an artist. When I became a teen, I realized there were way more talented people than me just in my high school.
