Hershey Kisses and Too Much to Read

Things that make me happy, even on a Monday:

1. Finding new favorite music through TV shows. I’ve found some amazing songs through Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy and all the other ridiculous/lovable shows I watch.

2. Hershey Kisses. Just the plain, simple milk chocolate ones. They’re just so good.

3. TV recaps. Sometimes they’re even better than watching the TV show. EW.com and Forever Young Adult recap some of my faves.

4. Patriots! Because if the Texans can’t win the Super Bowl, at least New England can! Sorry, Giants fans. :)

5. When my TBR pile is stressing me out. Like right now. Because, I’m sorry, but that’s such a wonderful problem to have.

Happy Monday, everyone! Anything making you happy this week?

  2. I love plain Hershey's Kisses and having too many books to pick from is an awesome problem to have.

    Have a great week.

  3. My problem exactly- having too many books to pick!

  4. Haha yes, I found so many great songs through CSI and Scrubs, it's ridiculous. Re #5: tell me about it. I have seven books out, two more waiting, and both of those two have waiting lists. But still, too many books is better than not enough!

Also happy-making: finishing the WIP, finishing a book, good news for lovely writer friends, toying with story ideas.

  5. It's a new week and there's loads to be excited about, I think:) The TBR pile is overflowing here too - but yes, it's exciting!

  7. Mmmm...Hershey's Kisses. I have a bowl full right now sitting in my foyer. Might have to go pay them a visit soon :D

What's making me happy? Knowing that it's only SIX MORE WEEKS until the last day of my FINAL MATH CLASS EVER. I'm counting down the hours...

    Cheers!

  8. My TBR was killing me, so I forced myself to read a few pleasure books for myself, then I jumped back in. Sometimes remembering why you read is all you need :)

  9. I totally agree with you on the too many books to read thing, and also about it being the best kind of problem :D I'm right there with ya!

  10. 3. Forever Young Adult always seem to write the best TV recaps.

    5. My TBR pile used to scare me, until I donated books. Now, it's much more manageable (unless you count Kindle books, and then it's a nightmare!)

I'm particularly happy today, because I have no classes on Monday. Yay for three day weekends :D

  20. I always just wish I had more money to buy more books! I have been enjoying organizing my TBR on Goodreads, because that gets rid of that terrible feeling that I'm going to forget about some book I really MUST read :)

  21. I have kisses hidden in my sock drawer. Don't ask. But at least my kids haven't found them yet. :D

My TBR pile is out of control, and I didn't last long with my new year's resolution of NOT buying anymore until I read the books I've got. I read a book I bought in 2010 and then HAD to order the sequel. lol

  22. Yay for a huge TBR pile! lol I've got that wonderful problem too.

  23. Seriously, what's better than a Hershey Kiss?! Sounds like you should grab a bag and sit down with that TBR pile :)

  26. I've got a huge TBListenedTo pile right now...torn beteen what I want to listen to right away and what's going to be due back at the library first...as you said, a wonderful problem to have.

Sorry, I've got too much Giants buzz around me right now to even think of cheering for the Patriots...and I'm not even a football fan.
