1. The Bachelor is absolutely hilarious this season. SO MUCH DRAMA. I love it.
2. I read Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally this week, and it was so much fun! I loved the concept of a female football player who fights to follow her dreams, even when so many people don’t believe in her. And there’s some major swoon going on, too. :)
3. I haven’t started Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare yet, even though I’ve had it for a while. I know I’m going to love it, and I know as soon as I’ve finished it, I’m going to want the third book. So I’m saving it.
4. I think I’m going to attempt to make an apple strudel this weekend. With probably hilarious results. We’ll see how it goes.
5. It’s going to be a weekend of family and football, which is the best kind of weekend, I think. Oh, and lots of reading. I can’t wait!
Happy Friday, everyone! Anyone have any fun weekend plans?

I'm halfway through Clockwork Prince and regretting it - I wish I'd waited till the next book was due out, now I'm going to have to wait ages when I'm done with this one :-)
ReplyDeleteAPPLE STRUDEL!! that sounds GLORIOUS!!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend (tonight) I'll be meeting John Green!! WOOT WOOT
Yay for family time!
ReplyDeleteGood luck baking! Take pictures.
Family, football, and books? That is the best weekend ever! Hey, are you on Goodreads? If you are we should be friends. Leave me a comment on my blog if you are and I will give you my email and the answer to my security question.
ReplyDeleteFootball, reading, apple strudel, and family? Sounds like a GREAT weekend!
ReplyDeleteI get to go see Brian Regan live tonight :) :) :) I'm very excited!

Your weekend sounds fun! Mine will be similar-ish on the reading, and I might watch some football if there's a game Saturday; I'm too lazy to check right now. Oh, and writing. Not necessarily good or bad, but there's a chance I might be able to finish the WIP this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have not been able to watch the bachelor this season and it totally bums me out. I love that show:)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the apple strudel and I can't wait to read Clockwork Prince either. No doubt it will be awesome!
yay for reading and apple strudel! I wish I hadn't gone through Clockwork Prince so quickly, but it's just that good. The waiting is going to kill me.
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm going to watch the snowstorm, and when my kids go to bed, finish reading the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Fun!
ReplyDeleteThere are no words for how pathetically hilarious The Bachelor has been this season. I usually can't stand it, but this season is so funny I can't stop.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend! Catching Jordan is very familiar to me...I don't know if I started it or if I just remember seeing the cover or something. Anyway, apple strudel sounds delish!
ReplyDeleteI need to get Clockwork Prince, too! Happy weekend...
ReplyDelete#3- I like to wait to read books in series so I don't have to wait as long for the next one too.
ReplyDeleteI was a compleeeete zombie so far this weekend. Gotta love it. Now I'm off to read, and thanks for the new reading suggestion!
ReplyDeleteI hope the strudel is more delicious than hilarious, LOL
ReplyDeleteYou know, that's a really good idea about saving a book! I always tear right through them and then I'm waiting FOREVER for the next. If I'd just let them sit and naturally move up my pile, pushing them down once or twice, I might not be sooooo desperate for the next one!
