It’s been a while since I’ve been to a concert, and it’s such a fun way to spend a free night! I need to get a group of my friends together and go.
I tend to gravitate toward indie folk/pop bands, who mostly play at smaller venues here in town for very affordable prices ($20 or less). So now it’s time to scour the schedules and find a band I want to see.

If we're talking bands, though, I'd love to hear U2 live someday. :)

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to all that many concerts. I'm not all that crazy about the idea beforehand, but then when I get there I have a great time, so maybe I should do it more often. I think I'd tend to prefer a really great unheard of band at a local pub or something. But if I were to choose anybody to see in concert, I'd pick someone like Florence + the Machine or Mumford and Sons. :)

ReplyDeleteI saw Bon Jovi last summer. My husband paid over $200 per ticket, and some large woman stood the entire time, preventing those behind her from seeing. None of us paid that kind of money to just see her butt, but she refused to sit. (Not that I minded standing, but not everyone wanted to). Still enjoyed the concert, though. Last time I saw the band in concert I was 20!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love concerts but I haven't been to one in two years. The last one I went to was Harry Connick Jr (I've seen him 5 times LOL) and it was really awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge live music fan, since I tend to want to sit down and not get stepped on, ha, but I'd love to see some awesome classical music or stuff from soundtracks e.g. Hans Zimmer.
ReplyDeleteI love going to concerts! Most of them are country. Makes me so happy. But obviously, Paris is in short supply of country concerts haha so I am planning on going to a festival here with Foster the People, Black Keys and Green Day! :)
