So I Went to a Baseball Game

I went to an Astros’ baseball game this week. I’m not a huge Astros’ fan (especially since our team got so weak), but I actually had a wonderful time. Despite the baseball. :)

Turns out going to a baseball game isn't so bad. Especially if you sit way at the top of the upper deck and chat with friends and barely even watch the game. Though I did love it when one of our players would make a home run and the train set up along the side of the stadium would blow its whistle and travel toward us (See the train by the windows? Super fun).

I don't know if I'll be going back this summer, but I'm glad I went!

Happy Monday, everyone! Did anyone do anything fun/amazing/relaxing/productive this weekend?

  2. Cool stadium. It's nice that the ceiling was covered. :)

I wrote all weekend. It was glorious.

  3. I'm not a fan of baseball, so I'd probably chat up the person next to me too. :) Now hockey, that's a different story. But then again, I am Canadian. Still, despite not being a fan of baseball, going to a live game of most sports is just fun for the experience and the atmosphere.

  5. I haven't been to a baseball game in ages. These pictures make me want throw on a Yankees t-shirt and eat a hot dog :)

  6. It was an excellent game -- if only we'd made it on the Jumbotron!

  7. I love live sporting events. Baseball is way more fun in real life than through a television.

  8. I hope you got a hot dog, that seems like such a classic American experience. I got supplies to DIY a chest of drawers, but getting ten of the handle I want is turning out to be a bit of a task.

  9. At least you got some enjoyment out of it, even if it was just catching up with your friends.

I'm not into baseball, either. :)

  13. Fun:) Is that an indoor field? I've never been to one of those. Wrigley is open and generally so freaking hot you feel like your melting LOL.

  14. I'm also not a fan of baseball, but stadiums are a great place to people-watch and jot notes for my movement journal.

I took my daughter shopping all day Saturday, which is at last starting to be fun. At 9 she now finds it entertaining instead of boring.
